COVID - 19 Update
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those affected by novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the world. As the impact of this situation grows in the communities where we do business, we would like to update you on the steps that we’re taking to keep our associates and customers safe.
At KIYOMI, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our customers and our family of associates. In our restaurant, we are putting a great deal of emphasis on the procedures that support our high standards in the areas of cleanliness and health. Some of the most important areas of focus are ensuring that our excellent hand washing practices are rigorously followed, strictly requiring associates who don’t feel well to stay home from work, and frequently disinfecting commonly touched surfaces in all areas of our restaurants.
As our community re-opens it’s businesses, we have made the decision to re-open with the recommendations from the state of Massachusetts and CDC guidelines.
While this is an exciting step forward, we did not come to this decision lightly. We have made this decision for in-house dining out of an abundance of caution for our guests and the KIYOMI family.
At KIYOMI, we want to help stop the spread and do our part in our community in staying safe.
We will continue to monitor current events to which we can provide a more pleasant experience for all of our wonderful guests to dine in.
We ask that all customers who are ordering take out with us that you pay over the phone and keep in mind of the times we give of when to pick up your food as if you come earlier than the time agreed, it will cause a blockage and confusion in our parking lot with others who are also picking up their meals.
Please stay in your vehicle as our associates will bring everything out to you.
Also, please be aware due to high demand for our fusion cuisine that our phone lines are overwhelmed during times such as dinner time at 4:00PM - 9:00PM.
Please be patient and call back in 10 -15 mins if our lines are busy. We will try get to every call as they come in.
We are taking several additional safety precautions in our restaurant, including: Daily pre-work symptom checks for every associate before he or she begins work, providing cloth face covers for associates, providing specific gloves for associates to wear while serving our customers, in addition to the gloves that we always wear to handle ready-to-eat food.
Every day, we hold ourselves to very high cleanliness and health standards that are designed to maintain a safe and healthy environment at KIYOMI. In addition, we remain vigilant in learning more about this disease by monitoring developments closely and keeping informed of additional recommendations from public health agencies. We are ready to initiate further measures that will make a positive difference, as they become known.
